C/O Jay: To everyone involved in "The Leap Back" convention,
Thank you all for your hard work( producers,
staff and volunteers!) and thanks to everyone who bought tickets and
memorabilia and participated in the event! The programs and
interviews and artwork were very well done and classy!
A special thank you to all the Q.L. guest stars and to the old Q.L. team who
gave so generously of their time! I will treasure the beautiful glass
commemorative "award", while acknowledging that EVERYONE involved
with the convention had a hand in making Sam a"Timeless Character"!
And a very special nod to my friend and publicist of many, many
years, Jay Schwartz, who not only won the trivia contest, but I think
at times loves the show more than all of us! He worked tirelessly
behind the scenes(and in front!) to help make the weekend a success!
Good luck and good health to you all, and again.....Thanks for the

Actually, there was another more general thank you 'award' given to the guests 'from the fans'. It was supposed to happen on the stage but time
flew away from us so they were delivered/shipped after the convention ended. I'd guess that's what he's referring to....and yes, he did give his
trivia award to that fan.

Thanx helene for posting.
Thats really great and lovely from him to thank us - while actually we have to thank him and all the others he mentioned too for making this con happening. We, the guests and fans just LOVED to be there and see them all again. So no need to thank - we all really enjoyed, didn't we?

I wasn't there and I didn't buy anything. But I did contribute a couple of items to the auction, so I'm taking a small piece of that sentiment for myself. It sounds like a wonderful event, and I wish by some miracle I could have been there with you all.

Thank you Helene for sharing that letter from Scott it proves to me what a beautiful human being he is. Bravo to all who made the convention happen not just
Brian and the other volunteers like you Helene, and Nancy Emma, and all the ladies. To Jay what a great guy for all his hard work.
I also have to say bravo to all of us who show our love not just for Scott who so richly deserves it and his wonderful Character Sam. But also to Dean who I missed so much at the convention. But called by phone. I want to thank you of you that met at this convention I will never forget the memories that you gave me. the times that I had there. It will live forever in my heart. There are no words for the emotional joy that I feel. Thank you so much to all of you and God Bless Scott what a beautiful angel that God put on this earth. |

Hey, I'll just thank all of you - including whoever has to edit that DVD ;-)
I'm sure a lot of people worked a lot harder than Scott did and it was very nice of him to thank everyone (and in fact, he thanked them, as well, by showing up). And, having stood around in a room of hall and hearing whistling of the QL theme song (within the past few years) and turning to find the whistling (and also the ringtone) was coming from Jay, well..... I think if Scott were my client, I'd have a special place in my heart for QL simply based on who Scott is. As Zac said I hope that everyone here gets the opportunity to meet Scott Bakula for even two seconds cause he's one of the sweetest people you'll meet in your entire life. Genuinely.my roommate just thew a big duck tail feather at me, and I have to run. (and those things aren't even related to each other, much less this post) thanks for posting this

I'm new with the forum. I think ya'll have done a wonderful job. Please, please, please could someone tell me how to get ahold of some of his movies.
I especially want "A Bachelor's Baby", "A Passion to Kill", "Above Suspicion", "Papa's Angels", "In the
Shadow of a Killer", "Nowhere to Hide", "My Family", "Mean Streak", and there may be some more. I would be so happy if
someone could tell me.

Hi and welcome. If you're after original dvd's of Scott's work, you can find some at Amazon.com and also Ebay often have some bargains. I've
used an online store here in Australia called Easy dvd. Other members here may be able to provide you with other places that they use to buy dvd's.
