have any of you others who have this canon camera fixed up your 'Scott buttons' yet and now you can do the same?

Gianna - I'm days behind because I have so much to read online, that I saved this to the hard rive of my new laptop to read when I couldn't get a
connection.
I'm barely halfway thru but it's such a great report, with so much fun detail and the whole lack of sleep and Scott Coma... it really captures the experience (and the experience is alway more than just Scott - it's the lack of sleeps, the snoring roomies, frequent trips to CVS (before memory sticks) and the tons of giggling) - I've had most of before, except for the massive jet lag that I don't envy you. I've sent a link to The Other German Girl (she's back! but probably not here recently. life.) For those who haven't heard from Stella in 2 years, she got all that hair cut! but her "new hair" looks gorgeous and she's on Facebook now. I'm going back to "savoring" now, but just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to write it all up. I always have trouble remembering all that detail (or any detail) without prompting. Love Scott's parents too. They do tell stuff, don't they? :-) And his dad is so charming and his mom is very nice. Chelsy is pretty cool too. (nope, not a misspelling).

I find it amusing that your music vids are deleted so quickly, but bootleg video doesn't get touched! Stupid youtube! (but good for the rest of us stay at
homes!)
Thanks! My friend Kay (who loves this show AND Scott) will be in heaven! (if it's still there when she gets home from MI) ssh! don't let The Bowl know! ;-)

Hi all,
so now I'm home again too. Had a flight on Wednesday but missed it completely. So I extended my vacation just a few more days and enjoyed LA. It was so great that Sandra could make it too on real last minute. I was waiting at the baggage claim in Atlanta, where I had 3 hours layover, when I got the textmessage from her, saying: "I'll be on the plane too soon! Can you pick me up at LAX tomorrow afternoon? Got a last minute flight and leaving in less then 10 hours." And I was like and phoned her right from the spot where I was standing! So wonderfull that you'd been there too!!!!
It was the first time I've seen Scott perfoming live on stage. And it was just so great. I so loved to watch him playing every night again. He's just gorgeous! Like Gianna I have the SX10 too, but didn't so many pics after the show. Just enjoyed to be there and feel everything. It's such a wonderfull experience to stand next to Scott or his parents and talk just so normal and relaxed. Well, okay, I guess I wasn't relaxed at all while talking to Scott himself, but I guess I managed at least my English ;) Oh, and every nite he seemed to be in such a hurry but took his time nevertheless. We asked him about coming to europe again, and he answered "Maybe". Though we are not sure if this was a "maybe ... just say that to not get you a sad face saying not so soon" or a "maybe ... I really don't know yet but I'm playing with this thought", we surely hope it will be the second one. I must say, I was among the guys who got a bit of a sunstroke during the dress rehearsals (cannot believe it's over a week ago now already!). But luckily I've got myself on feet soon again to drive to the bowl in the evening. And additionally I cought a nasty cold right the second day in LA. Somehow all the airconditioning wasn't good for me. So I was just hanging thru the first evening perfomance and freezing my ass off, shivering like hell. And backstage afterwards - I don't know how I did it NOT to simply collaps into Scotts arms, when he came over to us, gave everbody a hug and told us how nice he found it that we would be all there. Second evening it went a little better for me, even if I looked like a zombie at the pic with Scott. But he remember that Sandra and me having the same name.
Well, and the 3rd evening and already the last one. I tried to absorb just every moment Scott and everybody else was playing and singing on stage knowing I have to keep that in memory for probably a long time now. And he was so nice backstage. We waited almost till the very last moment, talked to his mom and dad, who was quite talkative (!), so I almost missed Scott who was about to leave when I spotted him. I called him back to at least say proper goodbye and wishing nice time and thanking him once more for the funniest parts of the show and all. And he came over so selfevidently and gave a warm hug to everybody. Still can feel his soft and caring touch. I wished I could hold him in my arms forever *sigh* It was such a great time. Beeing together with you guys, having fun and seeing Scott perfoming so great on the stage of the famous Hollywood Bowl. I will keep these memories in my mind forever.
Freedom is the greatest gift we are born with - and the hardest thing to hold on to ...

Trinity, I am so glad that you had a memorable time. The way that you hope Scott goes to Europe I hope for NY so that I can have my 20 year wish come true. To
see Scott on Broadway. Singing. When that day comes I will be so overwhelmed I will need someone to hold me up.
Again I am glad that you got to see his parents meet new friend. I am so happy for you. |

I was soooo hoping you got a recording of this song. Thank you!!! I loved it when I saw it and it was soooo frustrating we couldn't capture anything at
the dress rehearsal. (my few stealth pix came out terrible!!) and I didn't record anything.

Wow, pretty cool to see 'Sue Me' and 'Adelaide', Gianna. And very nice to hear what Scott had to say about the ipod. Thank you for posting and
sharing with us, all the things that you have! It was such a great event! Maryse

Loved this number too and Scott's Bronx accent when he sang it. Scott was just too adorable in this show, wasn't he??!! AlB
