Another nice interview, thanks. I just finally "got" two things (because I am slow). One is, Ellen Page is the aunt with the eyepatch on
"Pushing Daisies." And I had been picturing a "concert" performance as the cast standing in front of microphones, like Anyone Can Whistle.
I am very, very jealous of everyone who got to go. Maybe they'll televise it someday on PBS, like Great Performances or something. |

bluedana, I had the same thought when this was announced. With Brian Stokes Mitchell in the cast, it's possible--I hope! Funny thing, I remember Mitchell as "Action Jackson," the orderly on Trapper John MD who started out kinda shady (they cleaned the character up as the seasons went on). When I realized the Broadway star was the same guy, I wondered how he got that career and Scott was still "oh yeah, that Quantum Leap guy." Maybe Mitchell was willing to make sacrifices Scott wasn't?

I knew this was going to be a 'proper' play, cos I couldn't visualise 'guys and dolls' as being anything but . It is like a broadway play but in LA at Hollywood Bowl. |

Ann,
Thanks so much for posting this. I must say, though, it would have been nice had they gotten Scott's name in there somewhere -- "Starring Jessica Biel and Beau Bridges ..." Hello out there, it's not a 2-person show. Do you have any idea how this can be downloaded and saved? Thanks, again for this wonderful rehearsal footage. Unfortunately, I was unable to make this trip and appreciate anything that might help put me in the picture. Karen S. |
